'Downton Abbey' Exhibition to Go on Tour in the U.S.

American Downton Abbey fans can get their fix of all things Crawley starting next month, when a traveling exhibit dedicated to the period drama arrives stateside. Downton Abbey: The Exhibition is coming to the U.S. on a multi-city tour, which will kick off in New York City beginning November 18.

The immersive exhibit, which launched in Singapore over the summer, allows fans to get up close and personal with costumes and sets, as well as watch a bit of previously unseen footage from the mega-hit series.

According to the official press release:

Visitors will be transported on an incredible journey through the grand home of Downton Abbey as the exhibition peers into the world of the Crawleys and those that served them below stairs.

From Mrs. Patmore’s hectic kitchen and the gossip-fuelled servants’ quarters, to the family’s glamorous dining room and Lady Mary’s bedroom, fans will get the chance to walk through some of the series’ most recognizable and beloved sets. Visitors will even come up-close to over 50 of the show’s official costumes worn by their favorite actors including Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and Dame Maggie Smith!

The exhibition will also apparently explore the Edwardian period during which Downton Abbey is set, giving visitors the chance to learn about British culture, society and fashion from World War I to the Roaring Twenties.

Ticket prices vary, ranging from $30 adult passes to $15 children’s tickets.
