Everything British Streaming on PBS for February 2026

Our monthly rundown of everything British coming to PBS and PBS Passport for February 2026.

It's nearly February, which, as the shortest month, is historically one of the lightest months for new releases on PBS, especially for British titles. There are several reasons the calendar has tended to work out this way, especially over the last 15 years, as January became the month to debut Masterpiece's biggest titles.

Sunday nights are already full, with Miss Scarlet & the DukeAll Creatures Great & Small, and Bookish airing new episodes through mid-month. All three series have already released the full seasons on PBS Passport, and all episodes of Miss Scarlet are also available on Amazon's PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel. However, for non-PBS Passport members (and non-Amazon subscribers), the episodic rollouts of these three series will continue weekly through February.

Some years, PBS left the doldrums of late winter for wall-to-wall Walter Presents debuts and little else. However, February 2026 is a bit brighter this year, with a couple of fan-favorite debuts unexpectedly popping up like crocuses in the snow. Here's our rundown of everything British heading to PBS Passport, the PBS app, and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel for February.

Hope Street Season 4

For those who follow the Northern Ireland-set BBC soap Hope Street, Season 4 is the major turning point fans have been waiting for. After three seasons led by DI Finn O'Hare (Ciarán McMenamin), the character exited in a dramatic finale that enabled a significant overhaul of the series, a new cast of leads, and even a new HQ. Tara Lynne O'Neill (Derry Girls) takes over the series as the new head detective, DI Eve Dunlop, with Marcus Onilude (Ted Lasso) as the new second in command, DC Luke Jackson. The good news is the new cast seems to be sticking around for now, with nearly all set to return for Season 5, so now's a great time to check out the show if you haven't yet.

All episodes of Hope Street Season 4 stream on select PBS Passports beginning Sunday, February 1, 2026. As always, check your local listings.

Nature: Parenthood

I know I'm not the only one who finds David Attenborough's BBC specials super comforting when the world outside is going to hell. However, as the man's centenary approaches, competition for them on American streaming platforms has intensified. That's why we're so pleased to see his latest five-part series, Parenthood, land as a weekly release on the long-running PBS series, Nature. This study of how different creatures handle the stress of having and rearing their young was a big hit for the BBC, and hopefully British fans will tune in to PBS on Wednesdays for this special treat.

Nature: Parenthood debuts on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET on most local PBS stations, the PBS app, and the PBS Documentaries Prime Video Channel, and will air/stream episodes weekly through the beginning of March, which is when they'll become PBS Passport member-accessible only.

Velvet Collection (Velvet Colección) Season 1

After the roaring success of the four-season Spanish-language series Velvet (Galerías Velvet), it will surprise no one that Walter Presents is following it directly with the 2017 sequel, Velvet Collection (Velvet Colección). Set a few years into 1960, the new series features the return of Paula Echevarría as Ana Rivera López de Márquéz and Miguel Ángel Silvestre as Alberto Márquez Navarro, now overseeing the expansion of the Galerías Velvet fashion store from New York as a new store opens in Barcelona. The sequel ran two seasons and a Christmas special finale, so there's at least one more set of episodes heading our way.

All ten episodes of Velvet Collection Season 1 will debut on PBS Passport and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel starting Friday, February 6, 2026.

La Favorita 1922 Season 1

Since Velvet Collection is technically a continuation of the original Velvet, the first season of La Favorita 1922 is the only totally new series from Walter Presents for February. Another Spanish-language soap opera, this 1920s-set period drama stars Verónica Sánchez as Marchioness Elena de Valmonte, who, along with her lady's maid Cecila (Raquel Querol), flees her authoritarian husband, relocates to Madrid, and becomes the propriator of the shuttered La Favorita Bistro. Thus far, there are two seasons, so there's more to come; it remains to be seen if the show will be renewed for a third.

Season 1 of La Favorita 1922 originally ran as eight episodes, but has apparently been redivided for the international market into 12 installments, all of which debut on PBS Passport and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel starting Friday, February 13, 2026.

Call the Midwife Season 15

Call the Midwife is heading into a banner year, with its 15th season on the BBC, a big-screen film, and a prequel spinoff series. Season 15 is the first with little casting turnover in several years, and brings the residents of Nonnatus House to 1971. More importantly, as it has since 2021, the series will receive an early PBS Passport release with episodes debuting a full month before they do on broadcast (give or take a couple of days) at the end of March.

Call the Midwife Season 15 will be available for PBS Passport members starting February 20, 2026, with new installments streaming new episodes weekly on Fridays through mid-April.

Rocco Schiavone: Ice Cold Murders Season 6

Call the Midwife's early Friday release means it debuts for PBS Passport members the same day as the long-running RAI series Rocco Schiavone: Ice Cold Murders (Rocco Schiavone), which Walter Presents has been bringing over like clockwork since 2023. Season 6 aired in Italy as four two-hour mysteries, but, as usual, PBS will split it into eight hour-long installments.

All eight episodes of Rocco Schiavone: Ice Cold Murders Season 6 debut on PBS Passport and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel starting Friday, February 20, 2026.

The Intern (La Stagiaire) Season 5

The final Walter Presents title for February will be the return of the popular French series The Intern (La Stagiaire) for Season 5. Michèle Bernier once again returns as Constance Meyer, the former village mayor who restarted her life after being wrongfully convicted and winding up as a 40-something-year-old law school intern. Walter Presents has been releasing new seasons twice a year as it works through the series backlog (Season 11 is currently filming and expected to be released before the end of the year), so there's much more to come.

All eight episodes of The Intern Season 5 debut on PBS Passport and the PBS Masterpiece Prime Video Channel starting Friday, February 27, 2026.
