'Outlander' Stars to Tour Scotland in Docuseries 'Men in Kilts'

Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish will take viewers on a tour of Scotland this Valentine's Day with docuseries Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham.

The two men star together in Outlander, a period drama set in gorgeous eighteenth-century Scotland (sometimes, there's also time travel involved), which has proven a boon to the country's tourism industry since it premiered in 2014. But with the series' highly anticipated sixth season unlikely to arrive any time soon - production has been suspended to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic - Men in Kilts is going to be the closest fans will be able to get to Lallybroch anytime soon.

The eight-episode travel series will celebrate the rich, complex cultural heritage and history of Scotland as Heughan and McTavish tour their native country in a camper van, meeting local artisans, experts, and just regular folks along the way. And, most importantly, as the title suggests, kilts will certainly be involved.

The trailer promises a mix of silly antics and Outlander related anecdotes, and the friendship between the two men is palpable, even in this brief clip.
