The 'Ragdoll' Trailer Offers First Look at AMC+ Serial Killer Thriller

AMC+ has released the trailer for its buzzy upcoming serial killer drama Ragdoll, and it's as dark and creepy as you might expect anything involving a particularly gruesome string of murders and a horribly mutilated body to be.

Based on the book of the same name by Daniel Cole, Ragdoll comes from the producers behind BBC America's hit dark assassin drama Killing Eve and stars The Irregulars' Henry Lloyd Hughes, Too Close's Thalissa Teixeira, and Pretty Little Liar's Lucy Hale.

The six-part thriller follows the story of a trio of detectives who must investigate a shockingly grisly crime. Six people have been murdered, their bodies dismembered and then sewn back together in the shape of a new body. The figure - dubbed the "Ragdoll" - is found suspended from the ceiling in a block of London flats. And as the police do their best to track down the killer before they can kill enough people to assemble another body,

Assigned to this case are newly-reinstated DS Nathan Rose (Lloyd-Hughes); his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter (Teixeria), and their unit's newest recruit, DS Lake Edmunds (Hale). The "Ragdoll Killer" taunts the police by sending them a list of his intended next victims, with Rose's own name placed at the very end.
